| The Gering Schools' summer band program begins | |

 The Gering City Schools Summer Band Program will begin Monday, June 18, in the Gering Junior High band room. The Elementary Band will meet at 7 – 8:15am Mondays through Thursdays until the Oregon Trail Days Kiddie Parade July 13 and the main parade on Saturday, July 14, The High School Band, including students entering grades 8-12, will meet from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays and will lead the main parade on Saturday, July 14. Anyone participating in the summer program may also sign-up for private instruction at no cost to the student. If you have any questions please call Mr. Randy Raines at 436-3129 during the day. |
