 On June 14, the Gering Public Library is offering a free beginner’s workshop on using an eReader. Participants will learn the ins and outs of today’s eBook technology including hands-on time with your own eReader along with instruction on usage of the OverDrive eBook lending service. Participants will need to bring their own eReader. A limited number of laptops will be available. Bringing your own laptop is strongly encouraged. Nook users will need to bring their own laptop in order to use OverDrive. eReader times will be split up as follows: Nook users 1 – 2 p.m. with a half-hour after for questions. Kindle users are scheduled for 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. with a half-hour after for questions. Contact Stephanie at the Gering Public Library 436-7433 if you have any questions. |
