 Despite a great effort by Danny O'Boyle, Gering Platte Valley Companies lost 5-2 in seven innings at Gering on Tuesday to a Helena, Mont. The team from big sky country had requested the game with Gering since they were passing through the area and had an open date and the seniors obliged.
