The team beat Alliance 1-0 in the Junior 36ers’ first game of the B&C Steel tourney last weekend. Mike Jones’ Gering B&C Steel Junior American Legion Post 36 baseball team won its first two games Friday in the annual B&C Steel Tournament at Oregon Trail Park, but the Junior 36ers were forced into a split of their four games after losing both contests Saturday afternoon.
