| Gering Farmers Market underway | |

 GERING — Each Thursday night beginning July 19, the annual Farmer’s Market will be held at the Community Ever Green House on Oregon Trail Road in Gering, in front of the Gering National Guard Armory from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone looking for locally grown fresh produce can find a wide variety to pick from at the Market. Sales will not start before 4 p.m. If you have extra produce, or other items, you can bring them to the Community Ever Green House for the weekly Farmers’ Market. There will be a $10 seasonal selling charge or a $5 one-time charge. Some of the produce is grown at the Community Ever Green House, but much of it comes from people throughout the community.
