| Frances Ozuna April 26, 1924 – September 8, 2011 Frances Ozuna, 87, of Scottsbluff, died Thursday, Sept, 8, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff. A funeral mass was held Sept. 12 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Phil Flott officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. A memorial has been established to the family. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com Frances was born April 26, 1924, at Donna, Texas, to Victor and Frances (Martinez) Sanchez. She married Flavio Ozuna Sr. June 2, 1948, in Edinburg, Texas. She moved with her family to Scottsbluff in 1961. Survivors include her sons: Flavio Jr., Ruben, Joe, Danny and Fred, all of Scottsbluff; daughters: Maria “Terry” Livermont, Elma Guerrero and Ellen Benzel, all of Scottsbluff, Gloria Torres of Gering and Dora Camacho of Independence, Mo.; sister: Mary Martinez of Stafford, Texas; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Flavio Sr.; son: Joe Ozuna; brother: Joe Sanchez; one sister; and granddaughter: Trisha Marie Torres. | |
