| Yvonne Irene Davidson April 10, 1941 – September 19, 2011 Yvonne Irene Davidson, 70, formerly of Scottsbluff and Sterling, Colo., passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Baylor Medical Center in Carrolton, Texas. Funeral services were Sept. 26 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Nuss-Warren officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Yvonne was born April 10, 1941, in Scottsbluff to Leroy L. and Jessie I. (Moravek) Thomas. In 1959 she graduated from Hemingford High School and then worked at the telephone office in Alliance. She also attended Scottsbluff Junior College and Chadron State College. On Feb. 22, 1964, Yvonne married Stanley James Davidson in Hemingford. Yvonne was active in several church organizations and community services. She enjoyed making crafts and considered being a mother her occupation. Yvonne is survived by her loving husband: Stanley of Plano, Texas; son: Steve Davidson of Plano, Texas; daughter: Shari (Jim) Gertner of Gallup , N.M.; grandson: Derek Gertner of Gallup, N.M.; sister: Patricia (Jerry) Beagle of Alliance; brother-in-law: Tom (Ann) Davidson of Mukwonago, Wis.; two nieces; two nephews and numerous cousins. Preceding Yvonne in death are her parents. | |
