| Matthew T. Osburn December 29, 1994 – January 8, 2012 Matthew T. Osburn, 17, of Scottsbluff, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center following a vehicle accident. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12 at The Rock Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Tyson Lambertson officiating. Cremation has taken place at Jolliffe Funeral Home and Crematory in Scottsbluff. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Matthew Osburn Memorial in care of Platte Valley Bank, PO Box 2308, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.jolliffefuneralhome.com. Matthew was born Dec. 29, 1994 in Fort Lewis, Wash. to Kerry and Patricia (Przybysz) Osburn. He attended Scottsbluff High School where he played football and received very good grades. He especially excelled in math. Matthew loved his job working at McDonalds. He enjoyed hunting and playing X Box in his free time. Matthew had a gift of being able to bring smiles to his friend’s faces. He always wanted to help people feel better. For this reason and numerous others, he was a very well-liked person among his peers. Matthew will be missed by all his family, his friends at Scottsbluff High and the community. Survivors include his parents: Kerry (Stephanie) Osburn of Deferiet, N.Y. and Patricia (Dan Dooley) Fey of Scottsbluff; brother: Nathan Osburn of Fort Morgan, Colo.; grandparents: Janet and Tom Osburn of Green Valley, Ariz. and Agnes Mains of Washington; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. | |
