| Shirley Loree Schledewitz November 30, 1927 – January 3, 2012 Shirley Loree (Jackson) Schledewitz, 84, of Scottsbluff, passed away peacefully at Regional West Medical Center on Jan. 3, 2012. Memorial services were Jan. 6 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ed Hunzeker officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Shirley was born Nov. 30, 1927 in Osceola, Neb. to Wilbur and Dossie (Lorell) Jackson. At a young age Shirley and her family moved to Scottsbluff after the death of her father. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School and went on to beauty school. Shirley worked at a number of small businesses in the Scottsbluff area. She loved to read, collect various knickknacks and loved her dog Lily. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her children: Steven (Kristy) of Victoria, Texas, Jeff (Patty) of Scottsbluff and Kris (Beth) of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren: Tyson, Amy, Nicole, Scott and Grant; great- grandchildren: Kalie, Luke, Holden, Brooks, Jeslyn and Sawyer; sister-in-law: Helen Schlager of Scottsbluff; and brother-in-law: Howard of Omaha, Neb. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband: Pete Jr.; parents in-laws: Pete Sr. and Margaret Schledewitz; siblings: Laurence, Marge, Chuck, Bob, Jim, Bill, Maxine and Jean; and her great- grandchildren twins: Haylie and Trinidad. | |
