| Betty Joan Richardson December 11, 1929 – March 25, 2012 FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Betty Joan Richardson, 82 of Fort Collins passed away Sunday, March 25 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Services were March 29 at Plymouth Church in Fort Collins. Interment was in Roselawn Cemetery. Betty was born Dec. 11, 1929 in Veteran, Wyo. to John and Mary Schnell. Her siblings include sisters Norma Bush of Mitchell, Margaret Huck of Minatare and brother Richard Schnell of Washington. She married Virgil Richardson Jan. 22, 1952 and mothered six children from December 1952 to April 1970, 30 years of kids in school plus grandchildren and member of Plymouth UCC since 1956. She is survived by sons: Bradley and wife Shelly of Fort Collins, Vernon of Loveland, Colo., Gregory and wife Nancy of Kingsport, Tenn.; daughter: Robbin and husband Craig TeMaat of Fort Collins; grandchildren: Jason of Helena, Mont., Chris, Nicole, Taylor, Amy and Karre of Fort Collins, and Katie of Kingsport, Tenn.; great-grandchildren: Brayden and Mason; and cat: Whiskers. She was preceded in death by her husband: Virgil; son: Douglas; daughter in-law: Jane; and her parents: John and Mary. | |
