| Edward Lee Dobrinski April 5, 1930 – March 27, 2012 Edward “Ed” L. Dobrinski, 81, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff. A funeral service was held March 30 at West Way Christian Church with Pastor Willie Coop officiating. Cremation and burial will take place at a later date. Memorials are to be made in care of the family. Edward was born on April 5, 1930 in Bridgeport to Henry and Elizabeth (Summers) Dobrinski. He attended school there until the sixth grade. From there he had many jobs including working at a shipyard in Bremerton, Wash., farming and Morrill County Roads Department, for whom he worked for over 40 years. He also was a volunteer fireman for Bridgeport for over 20 years. Edward was united in marriage to Lois Low on June 23 1957. To this marriage three daughters were born. On September 7, 1986 Edward married Carol Mattison. Edward enjoyed collecting coins, traveling, and square dancing with his wife. Edward is survived by his wife: Carol; daughters: Lorena Ourada and Karen Dobrinski; grandchildren: Amanda Dobrinski, Lindsey (Ben) Silverman, Jeremiah Ourada and Aaron (Keegan) Dobrinski; great-grandchildren: Ashtyn, Jakobe, Shaylee and Katelynn; one brother; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Edward in death is an infant daughter: Lori Ann; his parents and several brothers and sisters. | |
