    Larry LeRoy Klein
    December 13, 1949 – April 22, 2012

Larry LeRoy Klein, age 62, of rural Minatare, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center with his family and close friends by his side. His funeral service was April 26 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Larry Spomer officiating. Following the funeral service, his remains were cremated and inurned at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff.
Memorials have been established in his name. His obituary may be viewed online at www.jolliffefuneralhome.com where online condolences may be left for family.
Larry was born Dec. 13, 1949 in Scottsbluff, to LeRoy H. and Lillian (Roth) Klein. He received his early education at the Victory Hill School north of Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School with the Class of 1968.
He attended Hiram Scott College, Nebraska Western College and Chadron State College and was active in football and basketball, not only in high school but in college as well.
Larry started Bluff’s Transfer in 1982 and he introduced Federal Express into the valley, when overnight shipping was a new concept. The business changed its name to Bluffco, Inc. in 1987 and evolved into many different businesses throughout the years.
Larry was a hard worker and was well connected in the Scottsbluff-Gering Community. He not only ran many businesses throughout his life, but also farmed north of Scottsbluff for over 25 years. He always wanted to make sure that his family was provided for, and his grandchildren were foremost in his life. They affectionately loved to be with their “papa.” He loved to entertain at his Lake Minatare home and always wanted to see that everyone had a good time.
Larry is survived by his daughters: Amie (Jimmy) Aguallo of Mitchell and Danielle (Ross) Bjork of Denver, Colo.; loved one Cindy Weinmaster of Scottsbluff; siblings: Carol (Rory) Myers of Denton, Texas, Gary (Selma) Klein of Rawlins, Wyo., Pam (Casey) Essert of Torringon, Wyo. and Tam (Duane) Doss of Brighton, Colo.; grandchildren: Tatriana Boskovich of Mitchell, Kassandra Aguallo of Lingle, Wyo., Trinity Boskovich of Commerce City, Colo. and Rylan Aguallo of Mitchell.
His parents preceded him in death.
