| Sarah Lynne Lehl May 5, 1959 – May 10, 2012 Sarah Lynne Lehl, 53, of Scottsbluff, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Memorial services were May 14 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Giles Armstrong officiating. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorials may given to the Sarah Lynne Lehl Memorial Fund. Tributes of sympathy may left at www.dugankramer.com. Sarah was born May 5, 1959 in Longmont, Colo. to Gerald “Curly” and Carolyn Ann (Goff) Behnke. She grew up and attended school in Longmont before moving to Scottsbluff for her senior year of high school. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1977. She married Michael “Mick” Lehl July 8, 1978 in Mitchell. They made their home in Scottsbluff where she was employed by J. G. Elliott Company, Mitchell Insurance Agency, and the Gering Agency. She was also a CASA advocate. Sarah loved being with her family, her dogs, reading and chocolate. She was a member of Holy Apostles Church in Mitchell. She is survived by her husband: Mick; children: Michael of Denver, Colo. and Megan of Lincoln; father: Curly Behnke of Scottsbluff; and brother: Steve (Pam) Behnke, of Scottsbluff. Sarah was preceded in death by her mother: Carolyn Ann Behnke. | |
