| Taylor Magdaleno November 28, 1990 – July 27, 2012 Taylor Magdaleno lost his life in an auto accident Friday, July 27, 2012. His funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Gering Zion Church with Pastor Tim Hebbert officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel from 1 – 6 p.m. Thursday. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. at the chapel. A memorial has been established to the family. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Taylor was born on Nov. 28, 1990 in Scottsbluff to Chris Schwartzkopf and Steve Magdaleno. Taylor attended grade school at Geil Elementary and graduated from Gering High School in 2009. He attended the University of Wyoming for one year and then returned to Gering and went to work for High Plains Budweiser until his death. Taylor lettered in football and basketball and played baseball. Taylor was a tremendous individual with wonderful friends and family. Taylor was known as Mags to all of his close friends and family that loved him dearly. Taylor touched the lives of all of those who he shared his life with. His crooked smile and fun sense of humor will be missed greatly by all. His favorite hobbies were watching movies with his family and friends and hanging out with his buddies (brothers), lifting weights and playing basketball, softball, flag football and play station games. He was a member and confirmed in the Gering Zion Church. Survivors include his mother and father: Chris Schwartzkopf and Steve Magdaleno; sisters: Alexis Magdelano and Cinsey; special friend: Marissa West; aunt: Carrie (uncle Joe/dad) Broussard of Minatare, Renee Skinner of Friendswood, Texas, Teresa (Donald) Stubblefield, Heather Dilling and Shannon (Jason) Dorsey, all of Copperas Cove, Texas; uncle: Todd Magdaleno of Omaha; grandparents: Janice Rahmig of Gering, Glenn and Vicki Schwartzkopf of Loveland, Colo. and Raul and Mary Ellen Magdelano of Gering; great-grandmother: Cartina Giron; great-grandfather: John (Gay) Schwartzkopf, all of Gering; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and special cousins Dustin, Dillon (brother) and Morgan Broussard. He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers: Lillian Rahmig and Ann Schwartzkopf Wolski; and great grandfather: Paul Giron. | |
