| Zada B. Kreiling April 6, 1921 – July 29, 2012 Zada B. Kreiling, 91, of Gering, passed away, Sunday, July 29, 2012, at her home. Her funeral service was Aug. 1 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastors Willie Coop and Lyle Hinebauch officiating. Interment was in the East Lawn Cemetery at Minatare. Memorials have been established to the Gering Central Church of Christ, Summit Christian College or to the family. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com Zada was born April 6, 1921 in the Lake Minatare community at her home and received her early education at Lake Minatare and Minatare city schools. She married the love of her life on Oct. 20, 1938, in her parent’s home. She and Charlie resided in Minatare together for 57½ years until his death. Zada loved being a homemaker, wife and mother. She worked at various jobs in the community throughout the years with her favorite being for Minatare Elementary Schools Library. Zada's family, children and grandchildren were the love and delight of her life. She loved spending time with friends and spent hours crocheting and making baby blankets. She is survived by her son: H.E. Luke Kreiling of Big Springs; daughter: Karren Reed of Gering; sister: Irene (Don) Smith of Gering, brothers-in-law: Munroe (Peggy) Kreiling of Minatare and Daryl (Joyce) Kreiling of Scottsbluff; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charlie; her daughters: Carolyn Muzzey and Charlotte Jackson; daughter-in-law: Ruth Kreiling; son-in-law: Bob Reed; three brothers; and her parents. | |
