Bayard topples Morrill 53 to 6

Bayard Rolls Over Morrill
For the second time this season, the Bayard Tigers football team racked up 600-plus total yards in a game - this time versus visiting Morrill last Friday. The final score was 53 - 6.

Bayard's Brandon Stuart went 17 of 20 yards passing for 308 yards and six touchdowns. Mikah Schmall averaged 21 yards on eight carries for 165 yards for a touchdown, as well as a 48-yard pass reception for a touchdown.

Spencer Jobman had three receptions for 59 yards and three touchdowns, Ryan Parriott had four catches for 78 yards and a touchdown and Kody Krantz had one reception for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Braydon Parriott and Trae Blanco had 12 tackles each, Michael Fiscus had nine tackles (four for losses) and a fumble recovery, Brandon Bowers had nine tackles, David Goodine had seven tackles and Spencer Jobman had six tackles and two fumble recoveries.

Bayard improves to 4-3 while Morrill drops to 0-7. Bayard finishes their regular season this Thursday against Chase County while Morrill finishes their regular season Thursday at home against North Platte St. Pats.
